If your vehicle age is 3 years or older you are required by law to have an annual safety check, the ministry of transport test, commonly known as the MOT Test.

The purpose of an MOT test is to ensure the vehicle meets the minimum safety level required by law.

Yes, we have an office that you are welcome to wait in and have a coffee while you wait.

What if it fails

We’ll give you a call and let you know what needs to be done to get your vehicle passed and then discuss your options for having the work done and costs. Once the work has been completed we offer a free re-test to get you back on the road again.

This is the second mot I have had done here I will definitely be going back. The first my car need some Working doing to it what sorted the same day and as I used the contactless pick up and drop off service. This time around I had a new car and luck no work needed this time but still very please with the service.

Gainsford Hall workshop was recommended by a friend for problems I had with a Smart car that another facility could not find what the problem was. The staff at Gainsford hall meticulously tested and found various faults which they relayed back to me with the costs involved. Found them to be very honest, trustworthy and professional.
